Restorative Justice Coach
Sires Rivers began his career working with youth in the Dept of Youth Services (DYS) where he worked with incarcerated youths for over 8 years. Following that, he moved on to working with juvenile boys with substance abuse issues on their behavioral and educational goals. Using his extensive knowledge, he directed the Project Rebound program for restorative work in redirecting court-involved youths, covering neighborhoods from Boston to New Bedford, on their educational and employment goals. In his career, he has worked with youths through the Boys and Girls Club and different school districts including Malden, Randolph, and Brockton. Mr. Rivers's passion for working with youth derives from what he's learned in the process of overcoming his struggles growing up in Boston; and the desire to help students discover and attain their goals. He graduated with his associate degree from Bunker Hill Community College and his Bachelor’s degree from Curry College, both in Business Management.
